Euro Info Centre |
|
|
|
| |
The Euro Info Centre network was created with
the support of the Enterprise Directorate General
in order to enhance the competitive strength of
small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Europe.
As the official information offices of the European
Commission for SMEs these decentralized EU service
agencies are generally established within organisations
affiliated with enterprises. Meanwhile, there are
more than 270 Euro Info Centres in EU member countries,
and further information centres are being established
in the candidate countries. Each Euro Info Centre
is in direct contact with the European Commission
and has access to the official EU sources of information.

UEF |
|
|
|
| |
The Union of European Federalists (UEF) is an
independent and non-governmental, supranational
European organisation. It was founded in 1946 on
the belief that only a European Federation based
on the idea of unity in diversity could overcome
the divisions of the European continent after the
two World Wars. Today individual members and constituent
organisations of the UEF, which unite some 50.000
people from all age groups in more than 15 European
countries, work toward their common goal on local,
regional, national and European levels. The UEF
is convinced that only a European Federal Constitution
can guarantee a more democratic and efficient functioning
of the European Union. |

Young European Federalists |
|
|
|
| |
The Young European Federalists is a supranational,
political movement active in 30 European countries.
It is an autonomous youth organisation which has
no party political affiliations or commitments.
JEF's interlocutors are political parties, European,
national and local institutions and associations,
as well as the general public. In this sense JEF
is a political movement, but not a party. JEF concentrates
its action on the achievement of international democracy
through the establishment of a federal system in
Europe as a first step towards peace and a World
Federation, and for a freer, more just and more
democratic federal society. |
